Why we built SpeechStars

Kids make the most progress on speech sounds with lots of practice, but practice at home can be hard to keep up. SpeechStars turns it into a few happy minutes a day with Aria, so families and speech-language pathologists can work toward the same goals.

We design for children first: no ads, no third-party tracking, audio that never leaves the device, and a parent in charge of every setting.

Our principles

• Practice, not diagnosis. SpeechStars supports home practice and never labels or diagnoses a child.
• Alongside professionals. SpeechStars is designed to fit around the care your child already gets.
• Privacy by default. Optional sharing with an SLP is off until a parent turns it on.
